La identidad chacarera en las grietas del paisaje sojero. Desplazamientos, trasmisiones y apropiaciones intergeneracionales en las transformaciones recientes de la producción familiar pampeana.

In the last decades, structural modifications have caused the weakness of the pampean familiar production. In this context, we try to understand some dimensions of the farmers´s world crisis. This world was part of social relationships that refer to a shared social and political trajectory. This trajectory used to structure identities and built “a world in common”. In this context we ask ourselves about the persistence of the production conditions, and about the selection mechanisms that are involved. Our questions try to add subjective and identity dimensions. In this way, we try to understand how the objective conditions has dissociated themselves from the subjective experiences, how the radical and structural changes have broken up the farmer’s identity. Our hypothesis is that the main thing that has conditioned (from a subjective point) the limit between the persistence and the displacement was the possibility (or impossibility) to have a reflexive distance from their own habitus. The other important thing that structures our work refers to the intergenerationality. The interruption of sedimented mechanisms of economic and simbolic patrimonial transmition, and the redefinition of these things that the individuals consider as a heritage that may be transmitted, impact to the ones who has came out from the direct agrarian production such as the ones who still stays in. The ways in which this disruptive experience has been perceived and lived are constitutive of the possibilities to build a story about it, and to include it in the familiar biography. The dialogues and silences between generations, the collisions and tensions between the diferent stories, the questions that go through the cracks because there is not another way to be asked, the explicit and implicit claims within the familiar group, are fundamental aspects to understand the social and identity recomposition process, to see the “world reorganization” that is still happening.
